Senior Physician Assistant - Bothin Burn Center | Night Shift
Make an impact in one of Northern California’s leading burn programs.
Join the interprofessional team at UCSF Health’s Bothin Burn Center, an American Burn Association Verified Burn Center caring for more than 500 burn patients each year. The 16-bed intensive care burn unit—the largest in Northern California—provides specialized care to adult and pediatric patients from critical care through rehabilitation, with an adjacent outpatient burn clinic.
As a Senior Physician Assistant on the night shift, you’ll care for patients with complex burn injuries across the continuum of care while working as an integral member of an interprofessional team that includes physicians, nursing, rehabilitation, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, nutrition, case management, and other specialists.
What You'll Do
* Assess and manage patients with complex burn injuries and medical needs.
* Perform admission assessments and provide ongoing clinical management, including coordination with the Emergency Department.
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the interprofessional burn care team.
* Coordinate care throughout the patient’s recovery, from acute treatment through rehabilitation.
* Provide education and support to patients and families throughout the care experience.
