Job Description
The Department of Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery is recruiting an Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator (ACRC) for the Childern's Communication Center (CCC).
Under the supervision of a Clinical Research Supervisor, the incumbent will perform entry-level duties related to the support and coordination of clinical research and outreach activities and may receive training and development to prepare and advance for journey-level work at the next level within the series.
Duties will include, but will not be limited to the following:

Assistance with coordination and in-person participation in on-site and off-site CCC clinical research andoutreach activities.

Database management and data entry while maintaining data quality
*
Review of medical charts and electronic records to extract medical information and other data for use in studies
*
Help with the recruitment, enrollment, registration, scheduling, and retention of study participants
*
Assistance to research personnel to keep patients on study schedules
*
Administrative support for research study activity (including working with the UCSF Committee for Human Research and other regulatory agencies)
*
Performance of other duties as assigned
