> The 16-bed intensive care burn unit—the largest in Northern California—provides specialized care to 
> adult and pediatric patients from critical care through rehabilitation, with an adjacent outpatient 
> burn clinic. As a Senior Physician Assistant on the night shift , you’ll care for patients with com 
>plex burn injuries across the continuum of care while working as an integral member of an interprofe 
>ssional team that includes physicians, nursing, rehabilitation, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, nutri 
>tion, case management, and other specialists. What You'll Do Assess and manage patients with complex 
> burn injuries and medical needs. Perform admission assessments and provide ongoing clinical managem 
>ent, including coordination with the Emergency Department. Develop and implement individualized trea 
>tment plans in collaboration with the interprofessional burn care team. Coordinate care throughout t

t4Qualifications:t3 Make an impact in one of Northern California’s leading burn programs.
5Required qualifications: - A minimum one year of recent experience working in Acute or Critical Care4 
> as a Physician Assistant. - Demonstrated excellence in the following areas: clinical practice, comm 
>unication, clinical case management, leadership/problem identification/resolution, and teaching. - F 
>lexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations. Preferred qualifications: - A mi 
>nimum of 2 years of recent experience as an Inpatient Physician Assistant in an academic medical cen 
>ter. Licensure/Certifications: - Active and current California Physician Assistant License (PA) - Ca 
>lifornia driver’s license (CDL) if required for position - Current national board certification (NCC 
>PA) by first day of work and maintain - Active DEA registration with Schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, 4, and  
>5 to a California address - Completion of an AAPA recognized graduate master’s degree program as a p 
>hysician assistant - Submit enrollment with CMS Medicare and Medicaid through the credentialing proc 
>ess by first clinical day - Current AHA BLS - Current AHA ACLS UCSF Medical Center and Campus requir 
>es certain healthcare providers to be credentialed. In most cases this is done through its Office of 
> Medical Affairs & Governance (OMAG) prior to the first working day. Credentialing and approval of t 
>he Standardized Procedures takes between 60-90 days but can vary.
