>l assessment, treatment, and disposition for inpatients and outpatients patients with primary brain  
>tumors. The APP will also work collaboratively with our Neuro-Oncologist and Neuropsychologists for  
>rehab planning and care management. Clinical services will be provided in accordance with UCSF-appro 
>ved Standardized Procedures, and under the supervision of UCSF Neuro-Oncology physicians. Work sched 
>ule is full-time and working hours will be determined based on patient care need schedule. The APP w 
>orks with the neuropsychologist/physicians/surgeons/AHP colleagues and other clinical and administra 
>tive staff to ensure efficient patient management based on accepted practice, including but not limi 
>ted to, performing histories and physicals, performing quality of life assessments, responding to ch 
>ange in patient status, providing needed prescriptions/evaluations/referral/treatments as permitted  
>under their standardized procedures. Home health services and DME, DMV evaluations, referrals, consu 
>ltations, radiographic or diagnostic requests, specialized treatment privileges, providing patient e 
>ducation, arranging follow-up appointments, and engaging in any approved standardized procedures req 
>uire that the AHP has OPPE/FPPE processes completed through the MSSO prior to independent patient ca 
>re. This APP will also play a pivotal role in the development and dissemination of key programmatic  
>resources. This will include the organization of community outreach efforts and patent educational m 
>aterials, as well as participation in quality improvement symposia and executive leadership meetings 
>. Equally important will be the APP’s role in promoting national recognition of the program through  
>clinical oriented research and manuscript preparation at society meetings (SNO, ASCO, ASTRO). UCSF r 
>equires all Advanced Health Professionals (AHP) to be credentialed through the UCSF Medical Staff Of 
>fice in order to practice and function in their clinical role. Credentialing and approval of the Sta 
>ndardized Procedures must be completed prior to the first working day.

5Minimum License/Certification: 1. California Registered Nurse (RN) License without restriction 2. Ca4 
>lifornia Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) without restriction 3. California Nurse Practitioner Furn 
>ishing Number including Schedule II furnishing privileges 4. NP national board certification from an 
> accepted certifying agency aligned with the patient population and clinical role Adult Outpatient ( 
>A-GNP-C, ANP-C, FNP-C, GNP-C, AGPCNP-BC, ANP-BC, FNP-BC, GNP-BC, ACNP-BC, AGACNP-BC, ACNPC-AG, ACNPC
