>s of large projects Department Overview The APeX Wisdom team falls under the Health IT department, w 
>hich is responsible for the build and maintenance of the UCSF electronic health record (Epic). The A 
>PeX Wisdom Analyst position will report directly to the APeX Wisdom Team Lead and up through the APe 
>X Ambulatory Manager. Health IT is responsible for all aspects of the UCSF electronic health record  
>software, Epic, also known as Apex (Advancing Patient-Centered Excellence) for UCSF hospitals, pract 
>ices, affiliates and community partners.  The APeX Ambulatory Analyst will work in collaboration wit 
>h other APeX application teams, clinical/business operations and guides to enhance and maintain the  
>Epic electronic health record.  The analyst provides excellent customer service to end users, tracks 
> issues and follows-up as appropriate. Analysts will work in multiple locations, including UCSF Medi 
>cal Center locations, Benioff Children’s Hospitals-Oakland and San Francisco, Stanyan and Hyde locat 
>ions, and community connect partners. The APeX Ambulatory Analyst must achieve EpiCare Wisdom and Am

5REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor's degree in health care information technology, computer science,4 
> or related area, and/or equivalent combination of experience/training. - Three years of relevant wo 
>rk experience - Epic Wisdom and Ambulatory certification completed within 6 months of start date - B 
>road and/or in-depth knowledge of 1-2 areas of focus in clinical applications specialty area(s). Kno 
>wledge of systems and functions, including design, development, implementation, user support and tra 
>ining, maintenance, quality assurance, and system testing and evaluation. - Strong problem-resolutio 
>n skills, with the ability to quickly diagnose problems, and develop, test, and implement appropriat 
>e and effective solutions in a timely manner. - Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to eff 
>ectively train, support, and work collaboratively with users of clinical information systems at all  
>professional and technical levels. - Detail-oriented, with proven organizational skills and the abil 
>ity to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks, and see projects through to completion on deadline 
>. - Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information
