2JOB SUMMARY The Research Data Analyst (RDA) will support the Principal Investigator in a broad scope
> of research-related activities taking place in the United States  The RDA will plan, coordinate, an

>system for data queries, and monitoring study retention.  The RDA will function as a liaison between 
> site data managers/programmers for the purposes of database creation and management, and will plan

>bleshoot issues. This position involves working with a variety of UCSF and non-UCSF faculty and staf 
>f to complete data entry and securely transfer data to approved academic partners.  Study databases  
>will be created and maintained in the UCSF secure research environment using RED-CAP. The RDA will o 
>versee data entry, data management and storage, develop programming to generate weekly progress and

5Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / traini4 
>ng - Working knowledge of research function - Working skills in system programming, database design  
>and data security measures - Working skills in analysis and consultation - Skills to communicate com 
>plex information in a clear and concise manner both verbally and written - Organizational skills to  
>manage complex information - Proficient in Microsoft Excel, REDCap - Demonstrated ability to prepare 
> tables, charts and graphs for use in publications and presentations - Demonstrated ability to inter 
>act effectively with a wide range of team members, including faculty investigators, programmers, com 
>munity partners, and other data managers from diverse cultural backgrounds - Ability to communicate  
>clearly and succinctly in spoken and written English Preferred Qualifications: - Proficient in Qualt 
>rics and other survey and database platforms
