>tting. His/her responsibilities include both in-clinic procedures, managing the outpatient infectiou 
>s diseases clinic flow, as well as assisting with insurance authorization and prior medication autho 
>rizations, contacting home health companies, assuring DME and other home supplies are adequate, assi 
>sting with medication refill requests, patient teaching and assisting in the overall coordination of 
> timely patient care. This position is 100% in-person onsite.

t4Qualifications:t3 The Pediatric Infectious Diseases Clinic Nurse is responsible for coordinating outpatient services

5Required Qualifications: - Two or more years of recent pediatric medical/surgical nursing experience
> - Minimum one year of recent experience working in an out-patient/ambulatory setting - Minimum one  
>year of recent pediatric clinical experience providing nursing care for patients with infectious dis 
>eases and immunologic disorders - Experience with maintenance of central lines (i.e.PICCs) and drawi 
>ng labs - This position requires flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations 
>. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience working at an Academic Medical Center - Experience working  
>with infants and children with or at risk for HIV disease - Experience with grant data reporting - E 
>xperience working with California Children’s Services Special Care Center patients & families Licens 
>ure/Certifications: - Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or Higher - Current California Registered Nursing 
> License - Current American Heart Association CPR Certification - PALS Certification - California Ch
