>rmacy Technician II - Provider (PT II - P) is responsible for: 1.    Providing initial management ad 
>vice and follow-up for emergency and informational telephone calls from the        public to the poi 
>son control center (Madera Division of the California Poison Control System (CPCS)). 2.    Working w 
>ith the direction of Specialists in Poison Information and according to policy and guidelines of the 
>            CPCS, under the supervision of the Medical and Managing Directors. 3.    Managing and tr 
>iaging calls to other staff as specified in the CPCS policies and procedures. 4.    Documenting all  
>consultations in an electronic medical record. 5.    Assisting in the development of written materia 
>ls as requested. 6.    Providing referrals to and alerting governmental agencies when appropriate.

>rbal communication skills - Education: - Licensed Pharmacy Technician by the California Board of Pha 
>rmacy - Completion of a recognized/accredited Pharmacy Technician Training Program - Minimum 2 years 
> of experience in a Specialty Pharmacy and/or in a retail/community pharmacy, and/or an equivalent c 
>ombination of education and experience - Must possess the skills, knowledge, and abilities essential 
> to the successful performance of the duties assigned to the positions. - Knowledge of medical and p 
>harmaceutical terminology - Ability to exercise appropriate judgment with policies and triage calls  
>to other hotline staff - Experience working in a poison center or managing emergency health related
