>olicies and procedures of the Medical Center and Ambulatory Services, and in collaboration with the  
>physician staff and administrative management, the Pediatric Neurology Nurse works independently to  
>coordinate the clinical care for Pediatric Brain Center clinic patients. The Pediatric Neurology Nur 
>se will utilize a high level of clinical knowledge to screen patient referrals, coordinate patient e 
>valuations to ensure efficient patient care flow, provide patient education, and improve health lite 
>racy and adherence to the treatment plan. The nurse serves as a clinical liaison between families, p 
>roviders, inpatient teams, and external partners to ensure continuity of care across settings.

5Required Qualifications: - Minimum of three (3) years of RN clinical employment experience in pediat4 
>ric neurology and care coordination experience either in ambulatory practice or case management with 
>in the past 3 years. - Proven ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare team. -  
>Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) and professional conduct. - Computer literate (esp 
>. MS Word, Outlook, and internet use) and experience with EHRs - Efficient In Basket and Pool manage 
>ment skills to support timely, safe, and effective care delivery. - High level organizational skills 
>, proficiency in meeting deadlines, ability to work independently and prioritize workload. - Demonst 
>rated clinical competence including effective leadership, teaching, and communication skills or an e 
>quivalent combination of education and experience. - This position requires flexibility to orient an 
>d work at all UCSF Medical Center locations. Preferred Qualifications: - BSN from accredited School  
>of Nursing - Recent Pediatric Neurology experience - Recent Neuro-immunology experience - Recent Hea 
>dache Program experience - CPN certification - CNRN certification - Fluent in Spanish Licenses/Certi 
>fications: - Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of California. - Current healthcar
