>e LVN will also assume clinical responsibility for administration of medications/vaccines, lab resul 
>t review and monitoring, treatments and procedures pertinent to pediatric & adult primary care such  
>as ear irrigations, wound care and urethral catheterization, as well as patient education. This indi 
>vidual will utilize their good customer service and communication skills daily via phone/electronic  
>contact, mail correspondence, and personal contact with both internal and external customers. This e 
>mployee will utilize computer skills in Apex and other UCSF computerized programs. This individual s 
>upports the standards of the policies and procedures of the practice and is responsible for maintain 
>ing current knowledge of pharmacology and competency in modes of administration and complies with al 
>l Ambulatory Services and Medical Center policies and procedures for infection control, safety, and  
>administrative and clinical practice. They are required to adhere to the Telephone and House Standar 
>ds as adopted by the Medical Center, as well as demonstrating UCSF’s PRIDE values and the AIDET fund 
>amentals of communication in all patient care and stakeholder interactions. The Sr Licensed Vocation 
>al Nurse will be primarily located at Bayfront, however, must have flexibility to cover multiple UCS 
>F medical center Primary Care Clinic sites.

>re setting PREFERRED QUALIFICATION - Epic experience - Assisting in minor procedures in a clinic set 
>ting REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS - California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) - Current America 
>n Heart Association CPR Certification - Must have blood withdraw/ venipuncture certification
