5Required Qualifications - Graduation from a PA Program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commis4 
>sion on Education for the PA (ARC-PA). - Physician Assistant (less than five (5) years of experience 
> as a Physician Assistant):- Two (2) years of recent orthopedic experience within the last five (5)  
>years. - Physician Assistant Senior (five (5) or more years of experience as a PA)- Five (5) years i 
>n Outpatient Orthopedic Specialties. - Prefer orthopedic inpatient experience in addition to the abo 
>ve. Preferred Qualifications - Five (5) years or greater PA experience in orthopadics within the pas 
>t five years, including independent ambulatory patient encounters across all specialties of orthoped 
>ics. - Experience with inpatient management of orthopedic patients. - Able to perform joint aspirati 
>ons and injections - Able to interpret X-ray and MRI images of the shoulders, hips, knees, elbow, wr 
>ist, hand and spine License/Certification : 1. California Physician Assistant (PA) License without r 
>estriction 2. National Board Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physicia 
>n Assistants (NCCPA) 3. California Driver License (if required for position) 4. Drug Enforcement Adm 
>inistration (DEA) Registration with Schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, 4, and 5 registered to a California addr 
>ess 5. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification 6. Additional require
