>bilitation Services Department. This is an inpatient position within Saint Francis/St. Mary’s Hospit 
>als’ Rehabilitation Services Department. The Per Diem Physical Therapist reports to the Clinical Sup 
>ervisor and provides both direct and indirect patient care services. This role primarily serves adul 
>t and geriatric patients from diverse socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds. Therapists with pediat 
>ric competencies and clinical experience may also treat infants, children, and/or adolescents. Under 
> general direction and upon receipt of licensed approved provider written referrals, the Per Diem Ph 
>ysical Therapist plans and administers a full range of physical therapy services for patients with v 
>arious physical and cognitive impairments and disabilities. These services include: Patient evaluati 
>ons using physical therapy tests and measurements Establishment of therapeutic intervention goals De 
>velopment and implementation of individualized therapeutic programs using evidence-based interventio 
>ns, modalities, and procedures The Per Diem Physical Therapist maintains all applicable patient care 
> documentation and may supervise support personnel, including Physical Therapist Assistants and Reha 
>bilitation Aides. As part of the clinical care team, this role also contributes to department-wide i 
>nitiatives related to compliance, quality, safety, and continuous process improvement. Schedule Requ 
>irements: Minimum of two (2) weekend day shifts per month One (1) major and one (1) minor Winter UC

5Required Qualifications: - DPT Doctoral graduate degree - If graduated 15 or more years ago, a bache4 
>lor’s degree - Minimum one year of licensed practice experience - Ability to communicate effectively 
> in English, both orally and in writing - Ability to recognize signs of distress - Basic computer sk 
>ills including work within Epic electronic medical record - Possession of good interpersonal, time m 
>anagement, problem solving and self-initiation skills - This position requires flexibility to orient 
> and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations Preferred Qualifications: - Prior experience providin 
>g patient care in acute care hospital and acute rehab/IRF patient care setting License/Certification 
>: - Possession of or proven eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist by the Physical Therap 
>y Board of California - Possession of or proven eligibility for AHA BLS certification
