>ocess for assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation to provide safe, therapeutic care. The 
> nurse utilizes an interdisciplinary approach across the continuum of care with adherence to Nationa 
>l Patient Safety Goals set forth by regulatory requirements. The nurse is recognized and utilized as 
> a clinical resource and demonstrates investment in the overall forward movement of the unit and the 
> organization. The Clinical Nurse II utilizes the nursing process for assessment, planning, implemen 
>tation, and evaluation to provide safe, therapeutic care in the Ambulatory setting. The nurse functi 
>ons as a member of the interdisciplinary and nursing teams, carries out established nursing procedur 
>es, and performs related duties as required. Assist to provide nursing care for patients with more c 
>omplex needs who need assistance, guidance, and/or supervision. Assists with the management of patie

5REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS - Minimum 2+ year of recent RN Medical Oncology Nursing experience or recent4 
> Surgical Oncology nursing experience - Minimum 3 years of total recent RN experience - Demonstrated 
> experience in working with Interventional Pulmonary patients and their associated procedures within 
> the last 2 years - Knowledge and abilities essential to the successful performance of the duties as 
>signed to the position. - This position requires flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical  
>Center locations. PREFERRED QUALIFICATION - OCN Certification or other relevant specialty certificat 
>ion - 3 years or more of recent Medical Oncology experience - 3 years or more of recent Surgical Onc 
>ology experience - 1 year of Telephone Triage nursing experience - BSN REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATI 
>ONS - Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of California - Current American Heart As 
>sociation CPR card
