> million in operating funds to achieve its goals in operating and maintaining the UCSF campus enviro

>/Mission Bay Operations, (3) Engineering & Utilities, (4) Facilities Projects (5) Business Operation

5Required Qualifications: - Two (2) years of experience installing, programming, maintaining, and/or 
>troubleshooting complex addressable, networked commercial or institutional fire alarm systems, such  
>as Edwards EST3/EST4 or equivalent systems. - Demonstrated theoretical and working knowledge of elec 
>tricity, electronics, and electronic and computerized fire alarm system design and operation. - Demo 
>nstrated ability to troubleshoot fire alarm system failures. - Demonstrated knowledge or ability to  
>obtain manufacturers certification on the following systems: Edwards Systems Technology panels and n 
>etworked fire alarm systems. - Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and fire system s 
>chematics. - Working knowledge of applicable building and safety codes. - Ability to communicate cle 
>arly, both orally and in writing, with contractors, consultants, customers, and staff. - Background  
>check required. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with fire alarm systems in university, health 
>care, or similarly complex institutional environments. - Edwards/EST manufacturer certification or t 
>raining. - Understanding of EST Fireworks stations networking with fiber optics. - Experience with E 
>ST FireWorks monitoring stations and networked fire alarm systems. - NICET Level II or higher Fire A 
>larm Systems certification. - Experience installing, programming, maintaining, or troubleshooting Ed 
>wards EST3 fire alarm systems. - Possess a valid CA Driver’s License
