>opriate nursing staff. Responsibilities include obtaining, analyzing, and interpreting cardiac rhyth 
>m strips each shift and whenever significant rhythm changes occur. The Monitor Technician works coll 
>aboratively with telemetry nurses and nursing staff across multiple inpatient units and campuses to  
>support effective communication, timely clinical response, and continuity of patient monitoring. Usi 
>ng state-of-the-art telemetry technology, the Monitor Technician contributes to around-the-clock cen

5REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: 1. Graduation from High School or equivalent. 2. Co4 
>mpletion of an EKG Interpretation course. 3. Minimum 6 months of recent inpatient telemetry monitori 
>ng experience. 4. Proficiency in independent EKG interpretation. 5. Excellent verbal and written ski 
>lls. Must be well organized and detail oriented with the ability to work independently and under pre 
>ssure. 6. Ability to work effectively within a team. 7. Basic computer key board skills and general  
>PC knowledge. PREFERRED: 1. Experience in medical centralized telemetry setting. 2. 1 year or above  
>recent inpatient telemetry monitoring experience. 3. Knowledge and experience working with Philips,
