>es and regulations, and bylaws of the UCSF Medical Center, some Nursing Policies, and, Medical Staff 
> Policies, and any unique ambulatory patient services this Nurse Practitioner (NP) position is assig 
>ned to in Liver Transplant. This AHP position may perform delegated functions as appropriate to thei 
>r “scope of practice”. In general, the “scope of practice” includes the management of chronic stable 
> medical conditions, routine care, acute or critical care, and medical and surgical procedures per a 
>pproved standardized procedures as identified by the list available on the Medical Staff Office webs 
>ite. The CIDP approved standardized procedures are unique to each person and are unlikely to include 
> ALL SPs on the list. This position may provide patient care in approved age groups and UCSF Health  
>licensed settings. The AHP has responsibility for the quality of standards of care for a specified p 
>atient population and evidences self-direction and accountability in the development of this role wi 
>thin the all UCSF medical center locations. UCSF Health requires all Advanced Health Practitioners ( 
>AHP) to be credentialed through its Medical Staff Services Office (MSSO) in order to practice and fu 
>nction in their clinical role. This applies to both adult and pediatric AHPs in the inpatient and ou 
>tpatient clinical settings at all UCSF Health sites (Parnassus, Mt. Zion, Satellite Clinics, et al). 
> Credentialing and approval of the Standardized Procedures takes between 30-60 days and must be comp 
>leted prior to the first working day.

5Required Qualifications: For NP2 PER DIEM: Minimum of 6 months of NP experience with care of ICU and4 
> or med/surg floor level patients or completion of UCSF NP Fellowship Program. Preferred Qualificati 
>ons: Experience with liver transplant patients
