4Qualifications:
5Required: • Registered EEG Technologist (R. EEG T.) • At least two years of experience as an EEG Tec
>hnologist. • At least two years’ experience in an acute care hospital setting. • Knowledge and under 
>standing of basic medical terminology. • Experience with computerized medical equipment. • Possessio 
>n of a high school diploma. • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writ 
>ing. • Proficient in computer skills including Word, Excel, and on line communication. • Possession  
>of good interpersonal, time management, problem solving and self-initiation skills. • Graduate from  
>an accredited training program in Electroneurodiagnostics or a combination of training and experienc 
>e. • Ability to work variable shifts and days. • Demonstrates ability to be an independent, motivate 
>d self-starter PREFERRED: • Successful completion of accredited neurodiagnostic program. • Completio 
>n of at least 12 months of fulltime (or equivalent) practical training performing NCSs under the • d 
>irect supervision of an EDX physician. • Prior experience working in an academic medical center envi 
>ronment. • Possession of current CPR certification.
