>, the incumbent will work closely with Dr. Marina Tolou-Shams and JJBH collaborators and partners to 
> coordinate and support JJBH research grants, programs, and related initiatives. The incumbent will

>search initiatives, program operations, and organizational goals. This includes assisting with polic

>ina Tolou-Shams’ Juvenile inJustice Behavioral Health (JJBH) research team. The UCSF-SFGH JJBH resea 
>rch team engages in a program of research that incorporates epidemiological/observation, behavioral  
>intervention efficacy trial, and structural-level approaches to understanding how to improve behavio 
>ral health (HIV and sexually transmitted infections risk, psychiatric symptoms, substance use), and  
>legal (recidivism) outcomes for system-involved youth and adults. The JJBH team also has a portfolio 
> of work focusing on projects and programs specific to behavioral health service navigation for yout

5Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / traini4

>grams - Minimum one year experience required - Proficient in communication and interpersonal skills  
>to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing - Proficient in ability to use discretion a 
>nd maintain all confidentiality - Demonstrates ability to use sound judgment in responding to issues 
> and concerns - Demonstrates ability to analyze, research and synthesize large amounts of data with
