5REQUIRED: - Graduation from high school or a General Education Diploma, possession of an American Re4 
>d Cross Advanced Life Saving Certificate, possession of a Water Safety Instructor's Certificate, and 
> possession of a current Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation Certificate; or an equivalent combination of 
> education and experience; and knowledge and abilities essential to the successful performance of th 
>e duties assigned to the position - American Red Cross Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED Certificate (a 
>ctive or obtained by start date) PREFERRED: - American Red Cross First Aid for Public Safety Personn 
>el (Title 22) (active or obtained within 1 year of hire)
