>tered Nurses and physicians. The LVN supports the delivery of high-quality emergency and trauma care 
> for infants, children, adolescents, and their families. Responsibilities include assisting with tri 
>age preparation, patient intake, monitoring patient status, performing clinical procedures, administ 
>ering medications within scope, preparing patients for diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, and 
> supporting trauma resuscitation activities. Care is delivered in a fast-paced, high-acuity environm 
>ent and is tailored to the patient’s physiological, psychological, and developmental needs. The LVN  
>demonstrates strong clinical judgment, effective communication, and compassion while interacting wit 
>h patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members. The LVN maintains professionalism while su 
>pporting diverse populations including patients, families, physicians, trauma teams, and hospital le 
>adership in urgent and high-stress clinical situations.

5Required Qualifications: - Graduation from an accredited LPN or LVN program - Successful completion 4 
>of an IV therapy course preferred - Two (2) years of related healthcare experience - Demonstrated pr 
>oficiency in phlebotomy - Demonstrated ability to provide highly personalized patient care - Demonst 
>rated ability to work as an integral part of a patient care team - Demonstrated communication skills 
>, both verbal and written - Strong customer service orientation. - Ability to administer immunizatio 
>ns to patients - Ability to meet physical requirements identified below - Proficient in APEX - Demon 
>strated knowledge with Windows-based software including Microsoft word, Excel, Outlook Preferred Qua 
>lifications: - 1-3 years of Pediatric Experience preferred - Emergency Department Experience Require 
>d Licenses/Certifications: - Licensed as a Vocational Nurse in the State of California. - Current CP 
>R Certification (BLS)
