>t evaluations, therapeutic intervention planning or intervention requiring discipline specific skill 
>s. The Therapist makes recommendations in patient care procedures, protocols or programs related to

5REQUIRED - Minimum of 1 year of general patient care experience with a minimum of 1 years in a relev
>ant multi-disciplinary setting, within the past 5 years. - Minimum of 40 hours of professional devel 
>opment activities, 50% of which are continuing education credits (CEUs) or relevant academic coursew 
>ork. The remainder can include mentoring, Grand Rounds, independent reading, etc. - P rior experienc 
>e as a clinical preceptor and prior experience teaching to a wide variety of audiences. - Demonstrat 
>es ability to consistently meet clinical caseload requirements of a staff level therapist. - Ability 
> to work a minimum of 32 hours and 4 days per week. - Ability to communicate effectively in English, 
> both orally and in writing. - Ability to recognize signs of distress. - Possession of or proven eli 
>gibility for CPR certification. - Basic computer skills in word processing and online communication. 
> - Proven ability to mentor professional behaviors including interpersonal, time management, problem 
> solving and self-initiation skills. - This position requires flexibility to orient and work at all  
>UCSF Medical Center locations PREFERRED - Prior professional clinical experience in an academic medi 
>cal center environment. - Prior experience working on an interdisciplinary health provider team. - A 
>bility to work full time, 5 days per week. - Possession of a graduate degree or certificate in Occup 
>ational Therapy from an accredited professional educational program. 5. REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICAT 
>IONS Possession of or proven eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist by the Occupatio 
>nal Therapy Board of California. POPULATIONS SERVED Demonstrated ability to provide appropriate care 
> based on the needs of a specific individual, including the patient’s age. When the therapist is pri 
>marily working with patients of age groups other than adult and/or geriatric, additional age-specifi 
>c performance criteria for neonate, pediatric, and adolescent populations are delineated under the p 
>ediatric clinical services mentoring program.
